I’m Rachel, the founder of Rachel Maxted Interiors. I’m an interior designer based near Cirencester, Gloucestershire, and I specialise in creating homes that are timeless, personal, and practical for family life.

I’ve always loved interiors - when I was younger, I would spend hours rearranging my bedroom just to explore new looks. That passion grew into a degree in Textile Design, where I specialised in digital print. While I loved working with materials, I quickly realised I wanted to create not just the fabric, but the whole room - the bigger picture. That led me to study Interior Design and launch Rachel Maxted Interiors.

My design style blends traditional influences with modern elements, creating transitional interiors that are relaxed, sophisticated, and inspired by nature. I believe homes should feel beautiful but also work for everyday life, which is why I focus on functionality, budget-conscious design, and even sustainability through upcycling and repurposing where possible.

I love bringing in my background in textiles and art by incorporating textures, prints, and bespoke artwork. These little details help make a space feel layered, unique, and truly personal to you.
