About Rachel Maxted Interiors
I'm Rachel, an interior designer and contemporary artist based in Cirencester, working with homeowners across the Cotswolds and online throughout the UK.
I help busy families create a home that feels calm, cohesive and completely their own. My approach combines thoughtful interior design with a love of colour, natural textures and original artwork, creating spaces that are beautiful to look at but, most importantly, work for the way you actually live.
Whether you're renovating, moving into a new home or simply struggling to make a room feel finished, I can help bring everything together. From layouts, furniture and lighting to colour palettes, finishes and artwork, I take the guesswork out of the decisions and create a clear plan that feels considered without feeling overly complicated.
“Here at Rachel Maxted Interiors, I am passionate about creating spaces that feel personal, timeless and suit your family’s unique personalities, lifestyles and evolving requirements.”
Creating homes with personality
I don't believe a beautiful home needs to follow the latest trends. The best interiors are those that reflect the people who live in them, so I take the time to understand your lifestyle, your taste and what you need from your space.
My style combines timeless design with contemporary living, layering considered details to create homes that feel warm, welcoming and effortlessly lived in with practicality always at the heart of the design.
If you've renovated, moved house or simply reached a point where your home no longer feels like it reflects who you are, I'm here to help you bring it all together. Whether you need advice on one room or a complete home transformation, we'll create a space that feels beautifully considered, functional and uniquely yours.
Alongside my interior design work, I create original contemporary artwork and bespoke commissions inspired by nature, home and the Cotswold landscape. I love the way the right piece can add personality, colour and meaning to a space, often becoming the finishing touch that makes a room feel complete.
